Foundation History

  • In 2011 – Lieutenant Colonel James Orbock, then stationed at the 426th Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne) in Upland, California, saw a need that his Family Readiness Group (FRG) could not provide. Since FRG’s are limited to the amount of money they can raise and because they cannot ask for donations from the public, he asked if we would be willing to step down from our leadership in the FRG and start a non-profit organization to benefit our Military Families during pre-deployment, deployment, and post-deployment. Along with Lieutenant Colonel Calvin Fish, his spouse Cheri, and community volunteers, O.A.T.H. was founded for the purpose of supporting the families of our Military because, after all, they’re heroes too.A Soldier’s greatest peace of mind comes from knowing his family is taken care of.
  • In 2012 – O.A.T.H. receives its non-profit status from the IRS and is currently engaged in supporting Military Families.
